Why did I become a celebrant?

A bit about me! I’m 38, a proud mum of two lively young boys, and a huge fan of travel, festivals, and live music. But most of all, I’m in love with weddings and celebrations. And here’s why I became a celebrant…

Bridesmaid extraordinaire!

I’ve always been that friend who gets super excited about weddings. I’ve been lucky enough to stand by some amazing people on their big days as a bridesmaid, not once, not twice, but ten times! Each wedding felt like a magical adventure, full of joy, tears, laughter, and moments that stay with you forever. Being so close to the love, the nerves, the happy chaos, I realised how much I adore being part of people’s stories.

Its all about making people smile!

For me, there’s nothing better than making people feel special and truly seen. I’m a sucker for big smiles, heartfelt moments, and the kind of connections that turn strangers into lifelong friends. I want every couple and family I work with to feel like they’re not just booking a service, but gaining a friend, someone who’ll be there for all the big feels, from the “I do” to the happy tears.

The spark!

The moment that changed everything? One of my best friends Sophie asked me to marry her and her partner. Can you imagine?! That honour, that trust, it lit a fire in me. I’d always loved weddings, but suddenly I wanted to create them too. So I dove in, enrolled in celebrant training, and Molly’s Ceremonies was born!

What makes me different?

I believe your ceremony should be as unique as your story. It’s not about tradition for tradition’s sake. It’s about crafting moments that mean something, a ceremony that sounds like you, feels genuine, and gets everyone smiling (and maybe even laughing a little). Whether it’s a wedding or a naming ceremony, I’m here to help you celebrate life’s beautiful milestones with warmth, creativity, and a touch of fun.

If you’re looking for a celebrant who’ll listen, laugh, and craft a ceremony that’s 100% you, then I’d love to hear from you. Let’s make your special day one to remember, full of love, laughter, and all the good vibes.

Drop me a message, and let’s get chatting!
